by Sustainable Development?
Answer.
Sustainable development means developing without harming the environment and at
the same time how to use the resources so that the present needs are also met
and the resources are saved for future future generations as well.
Question 2. What is meant
by resource conservation?
Answer.
Conservation of resources is an urgent need of the present time, it means that
natural resources should be planned and used in such a way that these resources
are properly utilized and are not wasted.
Question 3. What is a
renewable resource?
Answer. Such
resources are called renewable resources which can be used again and again by
physical, mechanical and chemical processes in a given period of time and can
be produced again. Examples of this are solar energy, wind energy etc.
Question 4. What is meant
by soil erosion?
Answer. When
the soil is no longer cultivable, it is called soil erosion.
Question 5. What do you
understand by resource planning?
Answer.
Resource planning is to find out the resources present in the country, find out
the quantity of reserves and make efficient use of it to meet the human needs.

characteristics of a renewable resource.
Answer. The two
characteristics of renewable resource are as follows-
1. These
resources can be used again and again.
2. The reserves
of these resources are unlimited.

These are of two types wet deciduous forest and dry deciduous forest.

understand by water scarcity?
Answer. When

Plantation agriculture is an agriculture in which agriculture is done by
planting trees in large areas. It is also called plantation agriculture. It

river projects have many benefits such as water for irrigation, power
generation, flood control, fish breeding, inland shipping, availability of

rotation.

main features of Indian agriculture are as follows -
1. Most of the
farmers in India have small pieces of land and from this they are able to
produce only for their own use.

farmers depend on monsoon.
