can understand the importance of India's information technology industry in the
economic development through the following points-
1. This
industry is currently providing the largest number of jobs.
2. The number
of women in this industry sector is also increasing continuously which is a
positive achievement.
3. Earning
of foreign exchange through these industries is also very high.
4. A
specialty of these industries is that the number of people working in them is
increasing day by day, which is a good indicator for the development of the
country.
5. This
industry sector plays an important role in the collection and use of
statistics.

of India's population is still dependent on informal sources of credit. Explain
the statement.
Answer. A
large part of India's population is still dependent on informal sources of
credit, this statement is completely true and many reasons are responsible for
this. Informal sources of loan means when a person takes loan from any of his
friend, relative, seth, moneylender or neighbor then it is called informal
sources of loan. India is still dependent on informal sources of credit due to
the following reasons –
1. This
method of loan is very easy as it does not require unnecessary documents.
2. This
mode of loan does not ask for any kind of collateral loan basis i.e. nothing to
be mortgaged.
3. This
method of taking loan is very easy and the person gets money very easily.
4.
Excessive documents are required to take money from banks and it becomes
difficult for a common man to take a loan from a bank.
5. The
availability of formal sources of credit in rural areas of India is still
negligible.

Agriculture and industry are complementary to each other as both help each
other and are necessary for each other's development. Agriculture and industry
complement each other which we can understand through the following points –
1. Provides
raw material for agricultural industries.

mills get sugarcane only through agriculture.
3. Various
types of uses also provide agriculture with different types of agricultural
machinery which are helpful in facilitating agriculture.

behalf of the Government of India.

important function of the Reserve Bank of India is to keep an eye on the
functioning of other banks and also to give instructions to them.

Self-help groups collect the accumulated capital of the members.

loans to members without any mandate.
3. Loans at
low rate of interest and easy repayment process do not allow members to fall
into the debt trap.

Self-help groups also involve women in this work in rural areas.

self-help groups provide financial help to the rural people for their small
needs.
